Looking at boats. May be just me but what if 3 or 4 others want to go?

What size would you get?

For yourself it’ll be fine. I had a 16-1/2 and myself and three of my family were on a hair line edge of too many for the space available(bass fishing). Weight wise was the same as well.

We made it work because we wanted to spend the time together but in reality it limited everything we did. Less active fishing like crappie, catfish, trolling etc would be a much better situation for 3+ fisherman on my boat.

A boat ALWAYS shrinks when you put it in the water. Boats look larger out of the water, when you go to use them and put them in the water, there is never enough room.  18 foot bass boat minimum for three people.

Thanks. Already had a friend ask if she could bring another along if I get it. I'm thinking 20 foot but it will be a lot more $.

Rented a 21 foot center console Bayliner yesterday. Think this is the way. I'll rent for a year or 2 then think about buying one.

Thanks everyone.

21 footer and plenty of room for two anglers on the front deck and a third angler in the rear. Not knocking a smaller boat but if you by any chance fish big water you'll want a bigger boat they just handle rough water better and your driving skills can make it even better. Not sure what your budget is but you can find extremely nice 15 year old bass boats in the 20-21 foot range for $20,000 - $30,000 depending on rigging and brand. Go to 20 year old boats and they are under $20k.

My Skeeter FX21LE. I'll be keeping this boat for a long time.

It even fits in the garage at an angle.

My only issue with skeeters is the same i have with my nitro. sitting in the coangler seat feels like you’re sitting above the boat while you’re on plane. driver seat is fine cause i’ve got stuff to hold on to, but i let my tournament partner get us places while i eat a sammicj sometimes and it feels weird. dang skeeters look great going balls out though.

3 is pushing to me, 190SX Champ and 21ZX Skeeter.  The Skeeter I could have two on the front deck the champ one in the 'cabin' area.
