I will second this statement. I worked with Nexcom and Aafis which are Gov orgs buying retail product for their groups...we always had to be lower than our online or retail presence by at least 20-25%. That is a big difference, especially when it gets into the higher ticket items.
We did well with them, but had to constantly stay on top of pricing...which could get contentious, if we didn't monitor across all of our platforms.
Gov is not easy, but once you are in, its hard to fall out of favor, unless you do some stupid shit.
