I have a barrel that measures 9 3/8" from the bolt face to the end of the barrel's crown and I'm trying to determine if this rail will allow me to access the muzzle device with a wrench. I see it is listed as 9.155" long which I assume is to the edge of the lower lip it has. Once installed does this 9.155" measurement run from the face of the upper receiver to that lip? How long is the "lip" itself?

ETA: the barrel measurement of 9 3/8" is from the bolt face (in battery) to the bare muzzle crown.

I just double checked the drawing and it is 9.155" from front to back.  When installed it'll probably be closer to 9.185" from front of receiver to the very front of the handguard.  This will vary a little bit.

Does the drawing specify the length along the top of the rail? Basically looking for the measurement minus that lower lip or extended section on the bottom half of the rail.

The length of just the top rail is 8.64".
