Everyone is super excited for more BRN-4 parts, but this one line in the pre-order has everyone concerned:



The upper looks GTG in all the pics... but are there plans to tramp stamp it with some kind of laser engraving?

On the left side? Or near the Charging handle up top?

This is 100% not-desired, and I must implore you not to do so.

While we are on the subject, what the market is truly hungry for is BRN-4 lowers. When these eventually hit, can you please mark them inside the trigger guard, as NDS used to do?

Yeah I’m hoping the logo is somewhere discrete, maybe on the bottom of the upper receiver.

They can save some laser time and just 100% skip it.

It is absolutely not desired.

Howdy all.

Just confirmed with the product people that the BRN-4 uppers will have an engraving on them to prevent any confusion between a BRN-4 and an HK part.

However, based on the requests in this thread, the engraving will be on the underside of the upper.

You guys are the best, and hopefully the mark is on the rear takedown lug or inside the CH track... or otherwise blind marked.

Also, some guys are hoping that the pic on the site is a prototype, and the final product will not have tool path marks from being billet machined. I know that this is just a fact of the way they are produced... but anything you can do to get closer to the desired result is appreciated!!
