Is anyone aware of a Tranquilo actually shipping in the past few months? I’m curious if they are even in production atm....

There's not another suppressor manufacturer on the planet who holds that title. |

I checked my LaRue account and my credit card account based on the above post: I have also been charged (11/20/20) for my Tranquilo that I ordered on 4/10/20. So hoping to get it at my local dealer soon so I can file the Form 4.
ETA: Just received notice today (12/08/20) that my Tranquilo has shipped to my dealer. So 2-1/2 weeks after I was charged for it, and 8 months after I ordered it. I expect the Form 4 process to take less time. ETA: Received a call from my dealer on 12/15/20 that my Tranquilo had arrived. I'll go by this week to pay him to get the Form 4 started, then the next wait begins (which I hope will be shorter than what I've already waited). |

What is NFA-pending? My upper (.308 UU) shipped after five months, and the can is still outstanding. They’ve had my dealer’s paperwork the whole time. The lower shipped in two weeks.

I believe it means they still haven't made the item yet. Mine says that as well for about 5 months now. It may be a lot longer, too.

NFA Pending means that your in the que for a Tranquilo. I just got charged 1/4/21 for a Tranquilo I ordered on 4/29/20. Still hasn't shipped yet as it's waiting on the form 3 to ship it to my dealer.

I’ll sell mine if someone in NC wants to skip the wait on Mark. Won’t help the NFA part

My CC got charged back on Feb 25th after placing the order back on around 6/20/20. I think I'm just waiting on the transfer from LT to my FFL at this point and then the real fun begins...err wait.

I ordered on 9/20/20.
They just charged my CC today, haven't received a shipping notification yet. I better get on getting my fingerprints from my local PD... |

Still in payment received. I ordered the damned thing in august, and they have my money now.
Good thing it’s a deal, who else would put up with the awful customer-facing side communication. |
|
[#22]
Payment received on the Tranquilo means that they built / serial #'d your tranquilo, received payment from you, and are now requesting from the ATF via From 3 to send it to your dealer. This normally takes ~2 weeks. You'll get a shipping notification when the process is complete and it is ready to ship.

The TQ coming with my UU is my first NFA item. I THINK I understand the process, but want to make sure.
Order from LaRue. Once fabbed, they send it to my local FFL/SoT. When the dealer gets the Tax Stamp, the can comes out of jail. I'm pretty solid at that part. What I need to know is, at what point can I file the Form 4? Will LaRue issue a serial number at some point so I can start the process prior to delivery with the ATF to minimize the wait time? Or do I have to wait until the can is actually delivered to the FFL/SoT? Thanks Unconfirmed |

To speed things up you'll want to get your finger print cards completed. It's been a pain around here to get a PD to do fingerprints during covid. Good luck! |

If one ordered a SURG upper, does this usually ship to the home address with that naked p&w barrel, and then another wait for the Tranquillo? Or do both go out at the same time?

I ordered it, a brake, and an MBT back in February 2021, and they said they wouldn't start building the cans until the order count got high enough and that was probably gonna be in August 2021.
It'll be my 3rd and on a Form 3, so if someone wants it without the wait, PM me. |

I added one to my UU order in April. I was told to have a lot of patience when the order was placed.

I just called to see if they could give an ETA or update on wait times for mine that I ordered in October. The rep told me that the ones that have been going out recently have been an average of 12-14 months. He said it could be more or less, depends on production.

I ordered one in November 2020, and got an email this week asking if it was ok to charge my credit card that was on file.

I ordered Oct. 15, 2020. It made it to my dealer on Oct. 13 , 2021. Now time to wait again.

Any news on the SUURG Tranquilo orders? Placed order April of 2019. I have the upper kit, but no can.
If anyone wants to skip the line I'm selling a 300BO SUURG kit. The suppressor is still pending from larue. Shoot me an IM on here if you're interested. |

That makes it an even 10 month wait from the day I submitted the check/paperwork to when I got to free the can from jail. Prior to that, it took LT about 9 months to ship the can from the day I ordered it. My oh my how time flies |

Tranquilo ordered 11/20/2020
Tranquilo arrived at local SOT 11/12/2021 - so just shy of 1 full year since ordering. Paid for transfer 11/13/20201 Silencershop paperwork completed 11/18/2021 Now the ATF wait begins. I'm at 10 months and waiting on my oldest outstanding transfer. If this trend of longer waits continues, the ATF might actually take longer than LaRue did! |
