On Facebook they also posted one that appears to be in 762x39 though as far as I know it was just a picture and no other details were given.

That is awesome news! I bought a BRN-180s....couldn't wait but I have two extra lowers that need some love.

I'm starting to lose hope that we will ever see these. I was really pumped when they were announced, too. I still have a lower waiting, but I'm going to soon re-purpose it.

The only reason a piston system is desirable on the jakl or rattler or something is so you can omit the buffer tube. And because they are designed from the ground up with a piston system. If you're going to just go the law folder route, you might as well just keep it DI since adding a piston system costs money, weight, and often creates additional issues... and you still have to use the buffer tube so there's no point. 300blk is very reliable with DI, so there's really no benefit to a piston system. |

It does look tall. https://youtu.be/2JGDW2p1tbs Also, is it just me or does it look like a bit more recoil than a MCX? |

The JAKL should be somewhere around $500 for the upper or $800 for the pistol if they stick to the pricing from shotshow.
The foxtrot mike seems like it should be $600 for the upper and $800 for the pistol if we can use pricing from the 11.5" .223 pistol upper The next closest we have is the brownells 180's ($900 for the upper) and then we're on to the MCX variants ($1500+ for upper kits). Then, price wise we have the MRP at $2500. May have left out some but this seems to be it afaik |
