Was the YHM R9 in stock? If it was "Backordered" its no secret....you wait in line until inventory arrives from YHM. Silencer Shop cannot assign a serial# until the cans arrive from YHM.
As explained on the SS website, many silencers will only be available via backorder (ie waiting your turn).
I've called and left messages and emailed but haven't received a reply. I just called today at what would have been 1:00 pm Texas time and the recording says they are closed. Is this standard operating procedure for Silencer Shop?

Up until last Friday, I've had no trouble calling the main # and getting through to a live person after a short wait. I've never had to leave a message.
In case you missed it, Texas has experienced subzero temps/snow/ice/power failures/exploding water mains and pestilence over the last week. Combine that with the massive demand for silencers, gun and ammunition over the last year and yeah, its standard operating procedure for a lot of businesses in Texas.
I received an email from SS on Tuesday saying my dealer support would be limited due to staffing and that their phone lines were not working.
