Well here is my RRA Elite CAR A4 in it's current configuration. I have added a MI railed forarm, Danial Defence QD sling swivel, Vickers 2-point sling, SOG VFG, a vicking tactics light mount with a surfire G2 LED. Yet to be added is a QD rear sling swivel (likely a MI that attaches to the rear sling slot in the stock) and an optic of some sort....I can't decide between a Millet DMS-1, an Aimpoint with Larue mount or an ACOG. All have their goods and bads from price to reliablity. I am leaning pretty hard toward the aimpoint but I don't know yet.

Steve: Posted in other thread. Happy now? how much OT is everyone working? how many shifts? I know that you are getting a new facility, but when the website says 4-8 weeks (that's what it said when I placed the order) people shouldn't have to wait 17+. I will reccomend RRA to other people but just not to order from RRA. Get it from someone with it in stock. Edit: now the site says 8-10 weeks, hope that's accurate |

Finally got everything in and built. It shot great right out of the box, with a little of CLP it was able to fire 200 rounds with zero problems. What Am I using. RRA Complete lower with a 2 stage national match trigger. RRA CAR A4 16" Wilson chrome moly barrel with 5.56 NATO chamber and 1/9 twist rate. A A.R.M.S. saw the RRA pic #1 on an old post you did...NICE....I had to sell mine 5 years ago, and am just now getting back in the hunt fore a new A-4 What was the basic RRA setup on this piece? (ie. what would I be looking to order from them with their current offerings?) and who got you into 300 yd accuracy with that short a barrel? that outrageous! nice scope - who's equipment? I want one - can you help me build it...??? thanks... Will FLA ps. I lived in Loveland and Ft. Collins for 35 years...hopefully I'll be heading back sometime in the near future |

Nice scope. Im ignorant with the 'combat' scopes. what magnification is it? I really liek the Larue forward grip. but man $100? plus I like my CAA FGA flash light grip. Looks real cheap/ugly but works great! and for a fraction of stuff like surefire. Nice sling. i think im gonna make my own sling using the sticky topic in the sling forum :) Nice 1911. I want a 1911 so bad. lol. I got a springfield XD 45acp service, My only handgun, when i turned 21 a couple eyars ago, thats what i did, bought a XD. all my friends, bought liquor, i bought a handgun :P Any ways, back to your rifle, really really nice. How doe sit shoot? any problems, hiccups, at all? I filled the RRA logo in with white crayon on mine, did the same thing on my XD. looks awesome. |

yeah I like the scope, except that the mount costs as much as it lol it's a millett dms-1 1-4x24 I think the larue FUGis really nice. The sling is a VTAC/LaRue padded. the 1911 is a kimber pro carry II in 9mm. I've got an XD45 service model in the safe. The rifle shoots really nice, a lot better than I do anyways. No problems what so ever so far. I put a troy BUIS on it, and after I sighted it in it's great. I lost my laser bore sighter on my last trip to the range so I've got to head back up to get my scope set up. |

hey my first post.....thanks for the Elite Comp pics. Thats the one I want as well...like it? Do you own any others that you can compare it with? From what i know about your optics you could' darn near got two Elite Comps instead...again, very nice rig, I may make your pics my wall paper till' I get mine.

Very cool pics....
I found out mine should be in late next week, just in time to shoot for the weekend....can't wait. i still have not decided on optics but I am leaning towards an Eotech or Aimpoint Micro. I am not certain which iron sights my gun is gonna have on it, so I will wait and see. |
