Any suggestions on replacing the rail ( gun shops, etc) and what rail works best with RRA rifles.
I was looking at their TRO-XL or DLX both in the 15.5 length.
Do I just need to send it back to RRA and let them work on it?
Thoughts?

A longer handguard will also require switching to a low profile gas block as the position of it will still have to be at the present position.
Most non-GI style handguards utilize barrel nuts/mounting systems peculiar to them. The half quad's system is fairly standard for us, but would require replacement if going with some of our handguards ort those made by anyone else. The handguard that you're going to eventually decide on will dictate what tools and skills may or may not be required.
Just about any decent gunsmith with the proper tools could do the job for you. Beware the casual guy that a friend kinda knows who has a vise block and offers to do it for you...it might be great and it might not...and it's your rifle that he would be "playing" with.
Yes, sending it to us for installation of one of our handguards is certainly possible. W eask that you would call prior to doing so to set up a return authorization.
Thanks.
