It can solve all of the weird ergonomic issues that affect a regular AR chambered in x39. The standard sized AR bolt is a little concerning for x39 but hopefully they realize that and there is room in the upper to accommodate something a bit bigger for a x39 version. |

There are 2 ways that I have modified the KS grip to avoid the trigger guard issue. 1. Use the Rite Pull grip adapter to remove the grip further back. 2. I machined an old A2 grip leaving only the top 2mm and front 1mm of the A2 grip as a shim to reposition a BCM grip lower to match the trigger guard. Both of these mods have corrected the oversized trigger guard discomfort for me. YMMV |

I dont know if it's just the size/shape of my knuckle but I'm getting glock knuckle from my KS47. |

I saw something similar like its not in the immediate future, but maybe/hopefully they changed their mind. Maybe because of the change in ammo availability, pricing and all of that they changed plans? Maybe they realized how good a jalk would work in x39 or the lack of modern firearms in that caliber and saw a market opportunity Maybe all of us asking about it changed their minds....I know I try to mention it every chance I get so they see it. I mean it really wouldn't be that hard for them to do honestly. Unless they wanted to go more the Mutant route and make the bolt bigger, but even that probably would be too hard. So hopefully they do that. |

Also if they can fit a beefed up bolt in there similar to how the CMMG MK47/Mutant does it you have a home run on your hands. |

The trigger guard causing glock knuckle wasnt as big an issue to fix as I was worried it would be. I took it to a gunsmith and before agreeing to cut on it he pulled out every grip he had in the shop and we tried them until we found one that repositioned my hand enough to get rid of the rub at the knuckle. I ended up putting the ERGO tactical deluxe grip on it and the big overmold is wide enough to bring my knuckle back out of the way of the guard. It ended up better positioning my trigger finger also so the center of my finger pad sits more naturally on the trigger. https://i.imgur.com/NJrIT8o.jpg |
| I would like to have my carrier from my KS47 drilled out in the rear to accept weights. By adding some mass to carrier I am hoping to Increase lock time, and prevent bolt from unlocking as quickly. Has anyone done this to theirs or know of anyone who would be good to have my carrier sent off to? A plus would be a place that also makes custom weights to add. |

Cheaper way would be to get whatever carrier you needed milled to work with AK magazines. |

Didn’t see this info earlier, so I’m sharing my mag info... Just received some of the “steel reinforced polymer”Bulgarian mags, the ones with the reinforced feed lips.  One of the 6 clicks in great, the other 5 need the mag catch pulled back to lock em in. No live fire yet. I need to do more looking, but it looks like the interference is at the front of the mag, so it should be an easy file job. Figured for $18 i was willing to try em. If nothing else I’ll get some AC mags and rotate these into the AK stash |

Just following up on the steel lined Bulgarian mags, with the reinforced feed lips. Had to remove some material at the top of the front locking lug and break the upper edge slightly where it interfaces with the feed ramp, no dremel required, just hand files. Also had to remove some material where it hits the over insertion stops in the upper. Again, no dremel. All in all it took about 30 seconds each. No live fire yet, but they snap in with authority now, solid click that I’m used to with my ARs and AKs  |

| What kind of extractor is on the KS47? I saw reference to breaking, did that ever get fixed? I am curious as I always thought this line got discontinued so I never looked further, but i have always wanted to build one up as a shorty (12.5) 6.5 grendel, probably steel case only gun. Assuming that it has a standard 0.125 bolt face depth, would getting a type I grendel/ 264lbc barrel from Blackhole Weaponry work? Really want to run this with some CSSpec 6.5 mags. |

Hi guys! New to this forum and new owner of KS47 Gen2. My extractor broke after about 120 rounds total count. All shot over 3 range trips so absolutely no abuse there. Wolf steel casing ammo which is supposedly more gentle compared to Tula/Red Army. During the last session after about 30 rounds I started getting FTE, checked the extractor and damn, it was broken :( So now I have to deal with PSA but I have already a bad feeling about all this. Contact form on their website is broken, I cannot send message whatever browser I'm using. Chat agents are offline so no chat available. Sending email to customer service and getting an automated message about not monitoring mailbox... Can't call them during their reduced working hours since I'm working too. I knew, this rifle would eventually break any extractor due to AR15 BCG dimensional legacies but honestly I wasn't expecting this so soon. Anyway, any idea where to find another extractor for this BCG? Thanks all! Dimitri |
