thanks Doc, but I've got several of those and they FN suck. I've tried them, and they don't hold well. And I don't want to go from the rail, to the adapter, and THEN to the weaver/pic rail. the optic sits ridiculously high.
PA needs to make a bottom plate adapter for the 22 dovetail.
How many more mini dots could PA sell if folks could put one on an old 22?

PA, there are literally millions of older 22 rifles with the 3/8 dovetail on top that cannot easily mount your excellent red dots. And owned by old men with failing eyesight.

Here's where I am with the CZ, using a DIP adapter rail , which cost $50. I strongly prefer just mounting the red dot direct with an 11mm or 3/8 bottom plate on the dot.
And I just spent $150 on a used Ultradot which is an old tube style that I can use with 1" 22 groove rings for the 552. but I would rather have a PA minidot...
