old guy new to ar-15 scene.
slowly putting a ar-15 mid length together. first order to larue tactical. i only ordered a can of the larue tactical index clips. i also received two bumper stickers, sniper competition dvd and a beautiful catalog. top notch service i must say. read some replies and had to look up what a dillo is! maybe next order. thank you http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q30/corvettebear13/ar15/P1180557.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q30/corvettebear13/ar15/P1180560.jpg edit- oh my the dillo is on the packing tape!! My long anticipated Stealth Upper arrived Wednesday and I was grinning like an idiot when I met the UPS driver halfway down the driveway. I wasn't home very long so I didn't have time to do much other than give it a quick inspection. But wow, what can I say, It looks great!
Rifling - check. Gas tube present - check. M4 feed ramps - surprise! I broke down the bolt carrier group tonight and things looked good there too. I don't have irons or an optic for it yet, so to take it shooting this weekend, I'm going to temporarily mount an Eotech 512 on it. VERY much looking forward to putting a few rounds through it! Oh yeah - no XTRAXN for the Stealth - just for the OBR and PredatAR? Not a complaint or anything, just wonder if I missed something. And to LaRue Tactical, thanks for the quick shipping, the great extras, and a pleasant ordering experience (thanks JP!). Consider me a long time customer!

I placed an order last friday for a sling, package shipped on monday and received on wednesday. I was pleaently surprised when I opened the box and found a DVD, bumper stickers, a dillo, dillo dust, pocket constitution, and some brochures. This was my 1st order from Larue, but definately wont be my last.
Thanks |
| Just completed my LaRue AR build! Billet lower and Stealth upper (16" barrel with 10" Handguard). This is my second AR and it is by far the best AR I've every shot, built, touched, or tried! I am a huge fan of LaRue products. I will continue to buy from them and spread the word on how high quality their products are! |
|
I am fairly new to the AR world but found Larue early on and have ordered from them 5 times in the past month. They ship fast and always add extra goodies....LOVE the dillos and the dry rub is awesome!!! My stealth upper was completed and shipped fast even though they had to weld and pin on a compensator due to stupid Massachusetts regs. I am a HUGE Larue fan |

I have got to say I am seriously impressed with my LT-158 mount.
I zeroed it at 40 yards to give a good all purpose zero for steel from muzzle to 300 yards. I took it off of the rifle and ran irons for several months. A few weeks ago a buddy called and wanted to do some precision shooting so I threw it back on the gun and headed to the range. The task for the day was to shoot clay pigeons/skeet on the ground from 400 yards away. I punched in the range and atmospherics in my ballistic calculation app on my phone, set the necessary adjustments and started shooting. At this point I should give some details on my rifle. It is a 16" 6.5 Grendel with a Troy/Vtac TRX-E rail. The optic is a fixed four power Leupold which needs to be replaced with something better at some point in the future. Even with a fairly standard setup, and after removing and replacing the optic numerous times, I was still getting first round hits on the clays over 50% of the time. I was very impressed with the quality and repeatability mount. |

I placed my order today for my 5.56 PredatAR. I spoke with Luke about a week ago when I was undecided about the PredatAR or OBR. Told him what I would be doing with the gun and he told me PredatAR was the way to go. It's not often you find a company that will tell you to buy the cheaper of two things if you are willing to pay the price for the more expensive product. Very high class and helpful.
I also have a good friend in SF 5th group who has ordered from LaRue and have a few guys in his unit that have LaRue guns and they have nothing but great things to say about LaRue. Now I just have to sit back and wait on my new toy to arrive!! |

Absolute horrid customer service...
Okay, I can't say that without a smile on my face. Put in a question on Sunday night about the LT-104 mount and a Troy BUIS. Didn't get a reply on Monday which wasn't a huge deal as I know the company gets busy. However, got a call on Tuesday from a Texas number I didn't recognize. Answered it and found I was talking to someone from Larue Tactical about my question. One of the CS department actually called me direct to answer my question. No e-mail, no message, actually called which is probably more than most companies would ever do for a customer with a silly question. Then proceeded to apologize for not getting back in a timely manner. Okay, so I didn't get a reply on Monday which wasn't a huge deal and had my question answered on Tuesday with a phone call from a live person who apologized for not getting back sooner? Wow! Nothing to apologize for at all! Utterlyfreakingawesome customer service would be a word I might use if it was actually a word for what happened. This day in age you just don't get phone calls from companies answering a simple question. And I was stunned that he apologized for not getting back sooner. Hey bro, not a huge deal I say after getting the apology and continued to get all the specs on the height of the Magpul BUIS as opposed to the Troy BUIS and the recommended mount. And another apology for not getting back sooner. C'mon man, it's not a big deal and I appreciate the phone call, no apology needed. Then he took the time to call up my order (I actually had the question answered on here by another member and had placed the order already) and gave me the low down on where it was in the system. HOLY CRAP! That's far more than most companies would do for a simple request for information. I just wish I had grabbed that guy's name so I could properly thank him on here. Again, Team Larue continues to amaze and restores faith that some companies are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. And furthermore, I've been halfheartedly shopping around for a precision 5.56 rifle setup. I do believe I've done all the searching I plan on (and probably need to be) doing and will settle (and I use that word loosely) on a Larue rifle when the time comes and funds allow. Outfreakingstanding! |

I don't post much on here, but I wanted everyone to know how great of an experience I had dealing with them!
I placed an order late one evening and it had already been processed and shipped by 10 am the next day! So after tracking my delivery like an eagle, I noticed UPS did not deliver because of no apartment number. Doh.. I just moved here so I forget all the time
I email LaRue and Tim Matthews replied immediately and fixed the problem instantly - which was even reflected on the UPS tracker. I was impressed. Turns out I have to wait til Monday now because I wasn't home and our front office is closed today |
| Few days ago I placed an order for a few things, not alot $470 or so and it was a nightmare. Due to no fault of Larue they were great. Turns out i have a 500 dollar a day limit on my debit card, i must have bought something with it and the 470 put me over... Anyways i got an email from Larue that morning so i called in and talked ot them, said my card wasnt allowing the charges. So i then called my bank said wtf is the deal, they said oh sir u have a daily limit of 500. Well all is fine and they agree to raise it to 1500 or somthing and say it will be done by 2pm, this was at 10 am or so. I then called back to Larue at 3:30 really feeling like a dead beat non paying jackass. Amy i belive is who i spoke to, said my card again was declinded. Got off the phone with Larue called my bank again, they said oh the paper work is sitting on my desk i just have done it yet, i didnt know u needed it rushed. Blah blah blah, i had already told my bank they had embarssed the crap out me and that i had already called and made an order and needed to pay for it asap and they need to stop playing games and that i wasnt geting off the phone until it was done. Placed on hold for maybe 2min woman comes back says its good to go now. I then call Larue back, really feeling like a jackass this time. Speak to Amy again, but this time my order goes threw. After all this the people at Larue were still very helpful and super nice, above and beyond what i would expect from anyone. Anyways just wanted to get this out there, that Larue will pretty much bend over backwards to help you out it, seems, great people. Cant wait to get my loot in the mail in a few days. |

LaRue yall are some great folks. I my order was shipped out on monday and I recieved it on monday. I ordered an Aimpoint t1 2 moa dot on an LT660 and the 8 pack of patches and recieved so much goodies with it. I was actually more excited to get a restock on dillo dust because im almost out than I am of actually getting my aimpoint!!! Thank yall so much for what yall do and how well yall take care of yall's customers. I work in the firearms industry selling firearms for a big box store and I see all the time how some companies can be and yall are by far superior to just about every company I deal with. Thanks again and Im looking forward to placing future orders with yall!

Got my order ( # 26474 ).
Thanks! I was expecting it to be at least another week since the mounts were out of stock when I called a few days prior. I appreciate the extra stuff you guys packed with the order. I was going to add the same color hat to my order. That was a good way to finish off a typical Monday. Thanks again. |

Update.....
WOW! I just had to come back and post AGAIN about how blown away I am. Talk about a company that will be getting return customers... In addition to my order I got an extra dill, dillo dust, a dvd and stickers. All in an incredibly fast shipment with what I can only describe as expert and quality packing. Incredible. Thank you very much!! LaRue rocks!

Yet another LaRue Tactical Order and 100% satisfied!
I have no idea how many orders I've had through Mark and his team in the past several years but I've had zero issues, above/beyond customer service (even while waiting for long-lead items), and needless to say the product quality across the spectrum just keeps me returning and referring anybody that asks. Congrats Mark and Team LaRue!

(GOOD! But sounds like OPTEMPO must be incredible... Order comment: 104-30 mount in production..2-3 day lead time. |

LT staff has always been super friendly with me at all times. I have delt with Amy, Will, & JP (that I can remember off the top of my head) and they are all truely top notch people.
LT products have always been top notch as well. So far I have 2 sets Index Clips w/handstops, Ditty Bag, 2 LT-104 mounts, LT699, covert case, apparel, and other non LT exclusives that I have bought there in the past. I am always showered with Swag like I am a king and it is awesome! However, all that amazing stuff is just another day at Larue Tactical. And after a while you reach the point where you can't really impress people anymore. Well, today I am writing this because recently I called into to ask about a product. JP was the one who helped me and I was so surprised by his response. Out of respect I am not going to get into details but I just want you guys to know I am one EXTREMELY happy camper. Just when I thought it wasn't possible for LT to be anymore generous and helpful they blew my expectations out of the water. There is truely no other company in any industry like LT. Thanks Mark for making great products and selecting a great staff to sell them. |

I have placed 2 orders in the past week from LaRue and I have nothing but great things to say about them. I placed an order on Saturday for a 20in stealth upper, LT104 scope mount, a Harris bipod with LT mount, and a can of index clips. I got an email Monday morning saying everything shipped, and on Thursday the big brown truck dropped off my new LT goodies. Thrown in with my order was a hat, dillo, dillo dust, Sniper Comp DVD, bumper stickers, and a pocket constitution (~$70 worth of swag!!). On Friday I placed another order for some more parts and a Pelican case and got tracking numbers 30 mins later!! This is my first AR built and I'm so glad I went with such a great company to supply my parts. Thanks LT http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/949/img2101lq.jpg |

Mark,
Your staff and company are amazing. I found out that my bosses from Cali are coming in next week and since we are taking them to the range after work one day, and they gonna shoot my OBR, I figured Id get them a little bit of Texas to take home. I bought 5 Dillos and within 10 minutes I had a tracking number, combined with the fact that I live down the street from you guys I know imma get it before the weekend .. Your CS is amazing. Glad to have you in my neghborhood. |

Huge thumbs up for LaRue.
I bought an Aimpoint T1 with an LT-751 mount, and after the first time shooting with it I decided it wasn't the right choice; I should have gone with an LT-660. Since it had been mounted, I was concerned they might not take it back. I called up the shop, and I told them that it was mounted and showed very light picatinny rail marks on the underside of the mount. He said not a problem, send it in and they would see if it's an issue or not. I sent just the mount in Tuesday afternoon (as they said to). Wednesday morning they received it and shipped the LT-660, and I received it Thursday afternoon. I'm only out the cost of shipping back and forth. On top of that, they sent it with an extra set of screws, loctite, and wrench. Fantastic turn-around, awesome on the phone, and it's impossible to complain about switching it for free (minus $20 round trip shipping.) Thanks Mark! I want a rifle from you guys and you sure are making it hard to resist. |
That's like keeping an empty beer can in the fridge, I keep mine loaded 24/7 - TheMercenary
| I sent an inquiry last weekend about different shipping options. Almost lost hope, but I thought in the back of my head, they must be swamped with orders and questions about the PredatOBR. Got a reply this morning and customer service reps were really helpful and put in the order. Later ran into a problem with payment, got a phone call and fixed the problem. Thank you guys and girls and I look forward to giving LT more of my money. |

As an old Marine just now getting back into the world of ARs I had the pleasure of ordering a 104 mount from Larue. Easily the best customer service I have EVER had! The products are very top tier as well... My only regret is not knowing of them before I bought my rifle.
You have earned a customer for life! Thank You!!!! |
|
I ordered a Harris bipod, 3 PMAGs with level window and a t-shirt at about 11:00 last night. At 8:21 I had a tracking number!! That unreal. I wish everything mail order was this easy.
The only bad thing is I forgot to get red white and blue index clips and was going to call and add them to my order but they have shipped before I even got moving good this morning!! |

Just ordered a First Spear triple 1911 pouch and some stickers from the folks at LaRue, and I have to say that they are the best people I've ever dealt with. I had originally ordered another item that wasn't in stock at the time, and they wasted no time contacting me and helping to come up with a solution.
Definitely gonna recommend y'all to all my shootin' friends! |
Don't bother me. I am hallucinating and talking to the Corn God.
|
I like their products ( I have 4)
I just can't get them to send me replacement screws for a LT-104 mount |

I got my Covert Mk II this past Thursday, and it looked more FOLIAGE than Charcoal Gray. I called this morning and spoke to Amy, who was super-pleasant about sending it back in to exchange for a black Mk II. I'm going to fill out the exchange/refund form and send it back. Not worried about the ETA on the black case, but the sooner the better, obviously...
One tip for anyone who needs to return or exchange something (anything) with LT... Just be polite to whomever answers the phone. Chances are, they'll be polite right back, and you'll get the end result you're after. No need to start threads bitching and moaning if you haven't given them the chance to make things right... |

I ordered a 20" StealthUpper, bipod with the QD, and Troy folding sights a while back. I was amazed at the quality of the workmanship on the upper and how solidly the bipod fit to the handguard. I appreciated the swag that was included (hat, dillo dust, dillo, bumper stickers), but what really surprised me was that LaRue put in a pocket Constitution. What a great reminder of the wonderful rights we have as Americans! Thank you, LaRue! |

+1 for larue. i <3 my 16" predatar. i'll never regret selling brand xx ar's for my larue. fit and finish is awesome. i've owned my pred since end of september and the darn thing is amazing! i've since ordered other larue goodies for it to make it "complete".
tonight i ordered a 18" 7.62 OBR with od UBR CTR stock and RISR. can't wait! ETA: correction to stock choice. |
|
Ordered a Bipod from you guys and just got off the phone with Amy regarding a card issue. She was very help full and polite; she also put me through to Tim in the warehouse so I could switch out models. He was the same. Thanks again for the help you two
Awesome customer service!

Larue is top notch. Even with a simple BCG order, I got free stuff? Jeez I'm going to keep ordering from my home state now!
I ordered via online on Sunday night, I had the BCG TUESDAY. Living in Arlington, I've ordered from places in Dallas and it's taken a week to get things. Thank you Larue, I'm saving up my dead presidents to keep ordering from your company. KB |

I called yesterday morning to make a change to a PredatAR order I placed last week. I spoke with Sheldon (same guy who also set up my original order) and the change was made with no problems.
I had also originally asked about billing my Aimpoint and rifle separately (to spread out the cost). When I asked yesterday, Sheldon put me on hold and said he would follow up right quick. He came back and said "it will go out today." Within 15 minutes I had an email with a tracking number. While I was on the phone with Sheldon, I forgot to also order an LT104 mount for a different scope. I called back immediately (spoke to Tony this time) and asked if they could throw the LT104 in with my Aimpoint that I had just talked to Sheldon about. He said we couldn't put it in the same box as the previous order because it had already been boxed and taped up! Today, I will have 2 boxes delivered to my house. That's right, a 24-hr turn around! (It helps that I live 5 miles from the shop). Thanks for the great customer service LaRue! |
|
I ordered an black APEG grip and some handstops. I got an email saying the grip was on back-order. I emailed back and forth with Tim and he was able to change my order around a bit to get it shipped sooner.
Great customer service from start to finish. He was very courteous and professional. |
|
I ordered a IFAK, firestarter , and a dillo (since I wanted one, and didn't think that they put them in small orders) However, when I opened it up there was a second dillo in there! Also dillo dust, Internation Sniper Competition DVD, bumper stickers, pocket Constitution, and some Catalogs!
I was very happy to get these! What a great company! I never would have thought I would get that many extras for such a small purchase |
|
I made a small order the other day. I asked that they hold the swag because I am moving, and where Ill be for the next few weeks I wont be able to store anything..
Got a mount in the mail today. Inside the box was a plastic ziplock bag holding the mount, tools for install, and..... Jolly Ranchers and Bazooka Joe Bubblegum. Cant say it enough: I love this company. |
