Once again I think the trigger can be fixed easy. Neither of those issues seem like a big deal for a 299 dollar gun with good fit and finish. Particularly one that is likely designed to take an array of aftermarket mags and uses internals that are readily accessible for upgrades. I am more interested to see one of these shoot through 500 rounds or so. ....As well as being in stock so I can actually buy one. |

For $299 and going with the assumption that it’s 100% reliable I’d say it’s a real winner. My concern with mag wobble is it hanging or binding up the slide while cycling. If that isn’t a issue then I could careless on the mag wobble. Like everything with PSA QC will make or break this gun. I feel they have a good warranty department so if it does brake they will make it right. And if the price goes for more than $399 in the current climate it would be a hard pass for me personally. At that point you have many more competitive options that are proven. |

Watched them last night. The magazine was really troubling since it did it on back to back loads. Maybe a bad PMAG? It's unimaginable anything like that could make it through the rigorous testing they've put that pistol design through. It's put me back on the sidelines until we see more data points. And I want to buy 2 or 3 at that price! I could get over the trigger. But I'm not going to risk a magazine falling out of the gun if my life is on the line. Hopefully, just a one time crazy situation. The trigger pin situation, that seems a lot more 'one off' to me. |
|
Man, that really is troubling. Extra fishy because they didn’t make Brian Blue delete his other old shooting videos. Seems like it’s specifically a dagger thing. I’d like to hear what Josiah/PSA has to say about this, but I doubt they would comment on such a matter. |

Brian has since deleted both of his YouTube videos. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/348220/Brian_Blue_png-1949280.JPG Man, that really is troubling. He used his departments range and video equipment to do the review which is against department policy. He is not allowed to do this and he was fully aware. His department gave him a slap on the wrist and told him to take it down. He is trying to make it look like it is our fault. |

I know my posts here aren’t very positive, but I do hope this Dagger project works out well. I’d love to buy one after production smooths out. |

Does anyone know if PSA ended up going with 416 steel for the Dagger slide or did they shell out for 416R or even 17-4? Last fall articles at that time mentioned it was only going to be 416 steel but haven't seen any new articles since the release. Sooch's video doesn't mention what it's made out of. The website isn't clear about it either. |

Brian also reported (in addition to other issues) the slide failed to lock back following the last round. These two issues are likely related. As I've said on other social media forums, I'd encourage PSA to reach out to Brian (possibly via YouTube). Even if PSA wasn't involved in Brian having to take down his YouTube videos, he took the time to share his experience with the Dagger. I think PSA should proactively help him address the issues he reported. Why should it matter that he used the department range after hours to uncover issues with the Dagger? https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/348220/abc_png-1951161.JPG Originally Posted By wickedbeernut: Originally Posted By Jman_JJE: He knows why it was taken down and is trying to infer we had something to do with it. He violated his departments use policy. He knows that and you know that. After he got is hand slapped by his department he tried to act like we were the reason it was taken down from YouTube. He was not honest with the public about the reason and tried to blame it on us. If he is going to lie in public and infer that we had the video taken down he is a dishonest and untrustworthy person. He most likely has some sort of agenda whether personal or another company. We may file a complaint with his department over his dishonest statements that we were the cause of the video being taken down. He is an untrustworthy person who violated department policy that he was fully aware of for personal gain, we will not be working with someone in any project with low integrity. ETA: I will personally be filing a complaint against him with the department for misappropriation of government property and integrity violations. I have 24 years of military experience and do not feel that anyone with this level of integrity should be serving the public or trusted with their funds. The units I was in would have severely disciplined him and I believe the same is in order here. |

Yeah, the lack of notification was frustrating. At this point, I have the page on my phone and I'll refresh it every hour or so throughout the day in the hope I can catch one. Good luck.

Morning update: movement noticed on the website. The page I had been watching https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-dagger-9mm-compact-pistol-black-black-910111111.html went 404 today. Now https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-dagger-compact-9mm-pistol-black.html is listed (and the only one listed), but still out of stock. I'm going to keep refreshing the page, as a window may be opening soon. |
