Okay, so the Geissele grip... it's not a terrible grip. It's not even "bad". But it is a grip for a segment of the market that won't appeal to other segments. A big part of the lack of visual appeal is, I think, the way the side grip texture has a diagonal line where it stops on the upper end, which lines up with the line of the finger nub on the front, and at the top end of the curve between the rear swell and the upper, mounting structure. It makes it look kind of segmented, or "broken". The front profile is very A2ish, we can see Mr. Bill's high power shooting days influencing that. The backstrap swell is fairly comfortable, and the rough texture and "hump" at the top of the swell give a good positive grip. The nub itself feels, to me, more comfortable than the A2. But the grip angle is just not for me. I prefer something like the B5 grip or a Magpul K2. For an A2 grip shooter, or anyone who likes that kind of angle, I think this grip offers a good option.
