| Man I don’t know why I keep going down this rabbit hole - for a slabside lower, did H&R come out with one or what’s the closest receiver to go with the proto upper with top charging handle - I’m not looking to get clone correct but would like to have a black slab lower to go with the slick upper - maybe partial fence - I believe Nodak made some back in the day from what I’ve read online |

At H&R we did a small batch of black partial fence Commando marked lowers. I killed the sku because they were a very poor seller. |

Those look awesome. I never thought we'd see that stock for sale from a major maker. I want one. I'm guessing it'll be a long while before the handguard and stock are available separately, but I hope they are. Mike, will these be a production item, to be sold separately down the road, or a limited release thing we need to buy the upper and lower for if we ever want it? Is the extended stock length the same as the CAR and A1 stocks? |

@mike_nds Just got this in. 733 pistol in black. The finish is a rough texture, almost like a cerakote - doesnt feel like regular anodizing you'd see on a Colt, BCM, etc. Pins are too tight to separate receivers by hand - going to try to use a punch to separate them but haven't had a chance to dig one out of my tool box yet. Is H&R still producing these on their own lines or has this been absorbed fully into PSA now? I was under the impression H&R was still its own thing just operating under the PSA umbrella. The finish on this 733 looks similar to the entry level PSA guns I've seen before. Attached File |

| My H&R lowers (COTS A2, Commando, XM177E2, M16/604) have all had some the grittiness to the finish and very tough take down pins. I will say the first few times i opened and closed the pins i used a brass punch with a gentle tap from hammer. After 5-6 opening/closings, the detent and pin "set" into each other and they can now be done by thumb pressure |

I'm guessing the stock and unique buffer tube+strut setup adds a fair amount of weight over the later aluminum CAR stock, but it'd be interesting to see how much. |

| Will H&R offer factory SBRs/lowers once the tax drops? I've love a properly marked and registered SBR Commando lower, and not having to add ahistorical engraved markings as I would if I register it myself. |
