What parts are required to convert a dual-feed SHRIKE  to an ARES-16 MCR – Mission Configurable Rifle ?

Is it just the removal of the feed trey and belt feed top cover, and replacing those two parts with a NON-belt feed top cover ?

How much would the part(s) cost to convert to a NON-belt fed rifle ?

If you're referring to the original AAR version, all you need is the AAR top cover and bolt carrier. I believe the conversion set is about $650ish.

Ironically, I tried selling my conversion set for $300 and had no takers.  Since then, I've decided to keep the AAR parts just in case I end up having to remove "other parts" from the system...

Thanks HKPDW.

Is there room inside the AAR top cover for the roller that is used for the belt feeding mech ?

Wondering if the belt fed bolt carrier will work with the NON-belt fed top cover.

$650ish ? That caught me off guard.

Nope but, the AAR carrier should work in the belt fed unit (when using a magazine instead of a belt).

Found my ad pic.  Looks like "the kit" could possibly be had for $499.00:
