So let's talk accuracy on the new @geissele barrels and uppers. I've seen a lot of different stuff out there.
First we have my custom Federal build which is the G barrel w/ gas block and upper receiver with bomb proof instillation done on the GB, second is a Standard duty upper. Both uppers have warcomps installed one with a mini RC and the other with a standard RC can, both have SD-E triggers and super 42 spring kits (H2) etc.
So here is the first 10 round zero confirmation group (50 yards) I did on the built upper using 62 Speer Gold Dot with the NX8 on 8x. This was done a day earlier than the next groups so I don't have temp but elevation is the same. Also it was done from a worse shooting postion, I just had the wood block on it's side.
These next ones were all shot at 50 yards off a case of ammo and wood block sitting on a bench. 36 degrees F, 714 feet elevation.
Sweet shooting position.
At 50 yards using the nx8 the first group of the day with 10 rounds of Speer gold Dot 62 grain. The cluster of three should have been in the main one but I only had half my coffee.
This group is out of the same rifle but with10 rounds 55 grain 223 American eagle.
This group is 10 rounds of 62 gr Speer Gold Dot 223 out of the Standard Duty Upper with an Aimpoint T1 at 50 yards.
This group is 10 rounds of 55gr American Eagle 223 out of the Standard Duty Upper with an Aimpoint T1 at 50 yards.
I think it's safe to say based off the ammo's capability mainly the gold dot, that these barrels have very good accuracy capability.
62 grain Gold Dot out of a match barrel on the best day is capable of 1 moa and usually fluctuates between 1 being the best up to right under 2 moa at worst out of a good barrel .

@GACS @sagmill Thanks for the great barrels and parts. I ordered the upper and Government CH on BF and the parts for the Fed upper on the pre Christmas sale. I'm very happy with the quality and everything.
