I’d love it if they came back. Might just be a collectors item offered at the DSC though. Either way it would put 25 more out there to potentially scoop up. If memory serves they ran around $400 originally. Wonder what asking price on a new production run would be?

Expect some on GB or Egay after the event.

I had one and sold it like a fool. I don't even remember how much I sold it for now. I've never been a big fixed blade guy, but I regret letting it go. I'll probably replace it if given the opportunity.

I know some folks have questioned some of the most recent offerings from LT, but I think this would be very popular.
Any guesses on what the price point will be? As someone mentioned above, I think the original ones were about $400. |

Or UHFO… either way… let’s get it lively in this place. |

I’m not a blade guy, but if they are offered at $400 I’d get one.
Blades get ridiculously expensive though so I’m sure I won’t be able to afford one. The 2008 version was $375 and came with a Spec Ops sheath.

lets guess on 2024 pricing
id say 600.00 as i dont see the pricing being the same with labor and materials costing more |
|
|
I think $499 would be a good price. I’m not a blade guy, but I think there is probably a limit on what people will pay for this type of knife. I think a lot of folks looking for a 6” fixed blade for basic hunting/camping/bushcraft/survival would probably just pick up something like an ESEE-6 for $150.
G came out with that Abraham & Moses line a few years ago. Their Goodman knife with a 5.7” blade and G10 handle was $395, $420 with a kydex or leather sheath, or $750 with a crazy machined aluminum sheath that they valued at like $400 by itself. It looks like they quit making them for whatever reason. But maybe $549-599 because it’s a LaRue? Much more than that and I think the only people who would buy one are those of us who remember what they sold for on the secondary market the last time he quit making them. Just speculating, of course. |
|
|
Just a guess, but $500ish. We could nip all this in the bud if anyone happens to post from the DSC with what they’re going for there.

i;ll stop by their table & check price, over the wkend

Thursday-Saturday 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. I’m interested as well if someone is willing to pick one up and ship it to Arkansas. I can send electronic payment. I considered driving down there, but I have some meetings I can’t miss on Thursday. It will be interesting to see if they make it to the weekend. |

I just checked the L.T. website and it's down for maintenance, maybe a good sign? I really would like one, if the $ is right!

A little surprised there doesn’t appear to be more folks interested in one of these, but I love knives almost as much as pews.

I guess it is rather large. Never really took that into consideration. As a collector I mostly consider the brand and style over the size of most knives. I’d put this one up on par with my Randalls for sure.

I fell off that list with the Black and Tan. Can’t get complete AR rifles or lowers here. Tried to see if they’d ship the lower stripped, no dice.

Dropped off due to finances at the time. :( Oh whale, hopefully they add them to the site at some point. |

She knows better than to think that anything with the green lettering on the box is going to be less than $500.00. Maybe I should ask them to send it in a camouflaged box with Amazon on the side? |
