we had success early with the prototype P-Mags, and issues with each generation since that.
We haven't tried the newest versions with the steel reinforcement, yet. What we found on prior versions was a slow thickening of the feed lips, on the outside, to the point where they were interfering with the bolt carrier's free movement. A few seconds with a file or sand paper generally took care of it, but it was an annoyance. I don't know what's going to be involved on the new models.
As indicated, most steel AK mags have worked well, as have most of the actual milsurp mags (except drums).
US Palm and TAPCO have been, with the P-Mags, the other mags with which we've experienced issues. In each case, we had problems with them in regular AKs as well as the LAR-47.
Thanks.
