Maybe this is common knowledge of where Colt parts come from but I wasn't aware and found it interesting.
I was on the search for an M4 RAS, Charie's Custom Clones had some P&S and Prudent American listed together on their website. I had never heard of Prudent American so I started looking into them, it appears they make a lot of gun parts for others and bought out P&S at some point (hence the M4 RAS).
Looking at the corporate overview video on their website shows a lot of recognizable parts being made by them, specifically around the 2:00 mark I noticed what is likely a 13629 cage code being engraved by the forge mark on an upper:
