So for all my fellow large frame shooters, what are you guys doing for rail sections to mount your bipods? I got a set of Vltor railed keymod covers ( https://www.vltor.com/shop/accessories-and-parts/vltor-keymod-slimline-grip-panels/ ) and I love how they look and fit, but funtionally they seem to be lacking aftee my range trip. I had my Harris mounted up front and within about 60 rounds or so the keymod screws had popped loose from the recoil/load on the bipod. It doesn't appear any damage was done to the rail, but obviously I'm looking for something that is going to be more reliable for the long term as far as a section of pic rail to attach my bipod to.
I'm leaning towards the 5 slot Arisaka rail section, since it uses three consecutive keymod slots to mount up. Any other suggestions? Or tips for making my current setup more reliable?
