I received a gift card for an item that I returned, which is fine because I buy a bunch from you guys. Gift card was for around $320, I spent $290 of it on an order then I tried to use the rest on an order for $80 but kept getting an error. From my talking to the CS people it appears you can only use one form of payment on an order. So I had to place an order for an item $30 or under. It's almost 2020 Brownells, please update your system so people can use multiple forms of payment on an order. I had my CC out ready to order more from you but said screw it. Placed my order for about $25.
Moral of the story don't buy a Brownells gift card as a gift for someone and think they'll be able to use it along with another form of payment to buy something. This was confirmed by multiple CS representatives both on chat and on the phone. They cannot even override this on a phone order.
ETA - I remember getting a gift card on a Ruger PCC I bought during black Friday last year and don't remember it being an issue.
