I know I'm getting more forgetful in my old age but this was pretty dumb. I shot three guns at the range and left the elevation cap from my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 sitting on the bench. It's the thinner of the two caps, the one on top. I didn't realize it until I got home which is a 1.5 hour drive each way. I called and was going to have them hold it for me but the guy couldn't find it, I have no idea where it went if it wasn't sitting there.
I would like to buy a new cap, I would prefer to purchase one if it's available and pay for shipping. I absolutely don't expect Vortex to cover my senior moment. I have bad luck with Vortex adjustment caps for some reason. I've lost exactly two caps over the years and both were from Vortex products. The other being a Spitfire 1X AR.
Is it possible to purchase a replacement? I really hope so and, if yes, please tell me how to proceed.
I sent you an email as well.
Thank you.
Edit: Just to be clear The Spitfire has been taken care of and is complete.
Edit2: Now in communication with Vortex through email and their usual excellent customer service is handling my screw up. Thank you.
