Has AAC changed the way they manufacture the 51 tooth mount? I ask because yesterday I got the stamps back for two new AAC cans, an M4-2000 and a Mini-4. I also have a number of other AAC cans. All of the silencer mounts look the same except for one that came with the M4-2000. It's brand new, never fired, and the mount came out dull, had no AAC marking, the part next that seats against the barrel is completely flat, and in general it doesn't look as 'polished' as other stuff I've gotten from AAC. I'll post a couple of pics.

From left to right, the mount that came with the new M4-2000, the new Mini-4 mount, and an old mount for comparison. You can clearly see that the mount on the left doesn't have the lip like the others but is machined smooth where it would press against the barrel. There are also no markings on it.

One can clearly see AAC imprinted on the Mini-4 mount.

The machining isn't as clean on the top as what I'm used to.
I'm not worried about it cosmetically. I just want to make sure I didn't somehow get an airsoft mount or a fake prior to using it to mount a relatively expensive NFA item that I waited 9 months to get on it. I'd appreciate any thoughts. Til then, I'll be sitting here in my mom's basement eating Domin....uh, I mean I'll be out doing tactical stuff.
