Hello again ARFCOMER's!
We swore that we would not produce another batch of our much sought after SVFG's for the MOE HG's, but we have been inundated with requests from folks who missed out on our original run. Consequently, there is now some discussion of doing another run for those who did not get one...we sold the others in less than 24 hours! 
This does not mean we are doing another run...only discussing it at this point in time. This is what brings me to this thread. We want to get a feel for if it is worthwhile to make some more and to see just how many of you are truly interested? 
We have had a ton of requests for colors, different lengths, hollowed out, custom mods, a rail system version, etc, etc. Pretty much, none of that is going to happen. We just don't have the time to deviate from our full time jobs...this is all side work on our own dime. If you're interested, please reply here with how many you may be in for...Hell, even leave us a little message too! Guys that do have them already, post a reply on what you think about the SVFG...feel free to request more as well! One note though...PLEASE do not email or IM me with requests, post it here. I purchased a Gold Membership just this morning and when the time is right, I will post my ar15.com email address! Also, I want to talk it over with the guys at the shop, but I would love to have us donate some to the forum! Include them with some of the giveaways that go on! Mods get in touch on how to make this happen please! |

I'd be interested in one. Will/could they be in FDE? ETA: Couldn't see the pix at work. Didn't realize they were aluminum. That's a lot of machine work for $30. I'd still be in for one myself as is. I'm building an SBR after the first of the year. This would be great on it. |

This would be great on it. They're not aluminum. They're some sort of polymer-esque material. Delrin, maybe. Eringobragh can confirm. But at the least, I can confirm they are not aluminum or metal of any kind. You might be referring to the home-made VFG's that someone else posted in this thread. I got one on the last run from Eringobragh. I like how light (not that I thought it would be heavy, but I was little surprised at just how light it was) and simple it is. Exactly what I was looking for. Now............to get some MOE handguards to put it on. 
If I was in the market for another, I'd be all over this second run. Buy with confidence, fellas. |

Well gang they are all gone! Or at least spoken for.
There might be leftovers if any of the above posters fail to submit payment...we had a few skimp out last run, but we'll see what happens as I'm still waiting to hear from some folks. Thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy them! You guys rock!
