So it's not necessarily a LaRue hat, but I've made it my own. http://i63.tinypic.com/2u43ti1.jpg |

I'm on my 3rd UDE hat. I wear it to work every night doing aircraft maintenance
I have a black one I wear every now and again late fall and through the winter. |
|
|
I have a couple dozen that I rotate out between cleanings. The only other hats I wear are a Task Force Dagger and rarely Modern Musket.

I never wear mine to work. I operate and maintain 5 newspaper printing presses, anything I would wear there would be trash within 8 hours. I do wear mine when I'm out on weekends like last weekend I wore my od green hat to the Indy 500.

Just 1 other guy and myself take care of 30 trucks, 80+ trailers, handful of forklifts, loaders, graders and skid steers. And 1 crane. We even occasionally fix customer equipment when we get slow, but that's rare. View Quote |

It's not that the circumference is too small. For me at aleast, it's like putting on a yarmulke because it's too shallow and covers only about half of what a New Era hat does. View Quote Thanks |

Quoted: Whoa ! A blast from the past ! That's one of my very first caps that had that infernal metal topknot. I was flying the Navion somewhere when I hit rough air. Even though my seatbelt was tight, plane came down on top of my head driving that damn knot into my noggin. I didn't need to be told twice. ML . View Quote |

they are too small for my fat head.
I will occasionally wear my Orange one at the range. It's my " please don't shoot me" hat. |

I would love to wear one of the 4 or 5 Larue hats that I own. Sadly, they aren't big enough to fit my 7 and 7/8ths sized head.

Velcro adjustment strap on my OD hat just broke at the seam. Motherfuckin' Bangladesh.....

I'm on hat#3 or 4, I wash them when they stand and start walking on their own or the wife complains...
They are always my lucky hunting hats with my cammo dillo on it. Kid#1 inherited the first one since it shrunk, but they are 100% cotton which is exactly what I want. The sunglasses loops are perfect! No @$@# button on top if wearing ear-pro! Thanks for the awesome headgear Mark and co! |
