I mentioned a couple pages back that I decided to return the SUURG and ordered the tAR instead.
So this tAR is my SUURG I was amazed how fast it got to me and I love how lite the rifle is. |
|
Took my suurg out yesterday to put some rounds down range. Man is she smooth, but with out the can she is freaking loud! 556 version black is the one I have. Really can’t wait to have the can and burn guard shipped, so that I can’t the paperwork started on them.

|
So have any of the cans shipped ?
Somone has got to have there SOT .. or the one they use is nice enough to let them shoot it lol |

And then another 180 days + for the NFA. Gonna be pretty sad when it takes longer to have the suppressor ship than it does for the NFA to process the Form 4. |

@LaRue_Tactical
I was just looking at the old MBT video and then moved to the SUURG video...A standard Tranquilo video came up in the recommended videos and that got me to thinking...How about a hold over product. Mark, Any chance you can cut us a killer deal on the standard Tranquilo's while we wait on the SUURG suppressors to make it into production and start shipping? It'd be sweet to see a M308 for $300 for all of the "Early AdoptAR's" group. ($500 after transfer tax). The extra $100 off compared to your large frame ultimate upper pricing on the suppressor would cover the $50-100 transfer fees that we kick out to complete the transfer. Thanks. |
|
Lol
I’m gonna say that will be a non answer. Obviously the shop has picked something up that is taking priority over these. That’s why nobody has got them yet. |
|
Don’t think Tranquilo’s are sitting on the shelves - ordered one with the big block UU on 1/15/18 and its the only part that hasn’t shipped. Was told by CS last week that they are in production but still a couple weeks from getting shipped out on Form 3.
Likely they had a big run of Tranquilos and SUURG cans going to get coated at the same time. |

Quiet on the Grendel front, too.
We did prepay so I would hope that would give us some extra courtesy, |

Are those SUURG cans Mark? View Quote I'm guessing they could be SURRG but could also be Sieti receives getting started. |

Got my shipping notice today for my suppressor, guard etc. Will arrive next week. FDE 556 ordered 12/29. Got the rest of the kit in April, the lower just came yesterday.

Crap, didn’t get the email that my burn guard and suppressor have shipped.... Checked my order and it still shows NFA Pending.
|
|
With the supressors shipping I would have thought this thread would have blown up. Mark usually is not a ship a couple here or there kind of guy,I would have thought he shit out quite a few.
Now waiting on my ffl guy to call asking me for a check.with any luck I still may see it this year..fingers crossed. Pete |

Yeah I was hoping to see a little more movement. As I recall the email came out on Friday (12/29) and I ordered a 5.56 on Tuesday (1/2). I think I was one of the first to receive the upper, but no news yet on the can.
|
|
Word I got was only about 20 shipped this week. Hopefully more will ship next week.
|

I've got a tracking number for my upper. I ordered the 6.5. Suppressor is still showing NFA pending.

Contrary to the opinion of many on this thread, Mark is a mere mortal and cannot shit out suppressors. But that would be a cool superpower. View Quote ”...we are predicting 8-12 weeks to get your upper to you and to start the suppressor transfer paperwork.” |

Quoted: I agree, it was a pretty terrible prediction. I think we're approaching 23 weeks. Form 3 approvals are currently running 2-14 days from submission. But it is what it is. View Quote Maybe in the beginning they were a little optimistic, but given where things are now (especially if they've only shipped 20 suppressors to date), I think its pretty obvious that 8 to 12 weeks is a pipe dream. Why would you want to mislead customers? Just begging for people to get pissed off. |

Notified my 300BLK upper shipped. Same as my buddy’s. Come on suppressor!

Got the shipping notice for my suppressor and burn guard today. So looks like a couple small waves of shipments over the last couple of days.
I think this also blows the theory around only 20 made / shipped in the first batch. Now only 2 back orders left at Larue |

One thing is for sure - I've never not received something I ordered from LT.

Getting a FDE 260 UU Kit and Lower from Larue was faster than getting the BATF to approve the tax stamp - and Larue had to manufacture something.
Makes a person wonder how many people work in that office and how many forms they approve or reject each day. A person with a LTC or current tax stamp has had a background check. Don't see how it can take 8 months to a year to process a piece of paper. |

What optics are you guys going to run on your Surg? Especially those with 300blk?

Black Grendel UU on its way! No word on suppressor, small block lower, or 2 MBTs I ordered 2 months ago....

Same here. I played around with an NX8 the other day and liked it, but I thought that the eyebox was really small. Clarity and brightness was great however. First 300blk so its hard to figure out the whole subs/supers with optics. In another thread someone mentioned setting the zero stop and then keeping the dope handy so you can crank in elevation when you switch back and forth.
