It's great to know that you guys are interested in getting good feedback on this. I'll throw in a bit of feedback myself. You guys probably have this covered to some degree, but I'll mention it just in case. I think a large portion of your audience is looking for this: https://clydearmory.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/l/clyde_armory_hk_mp5_navy.jpg I know I am. I think you guys would see them flying out the door if you were to offer this, or as close to it as possible. Full-size, MP5A3/MP5-N/MP5F-style rifles and pistols. Traditional looking, though still modern, MP5s. No welded on rails or any of that. Offer things like Navy-style lowers, F-style stocks, etc. Appreciate the MP5 for what it is, don't try to make the MP5 what it ain't. I believe you guys understand this, but it certainly never hurts to hear it some more. https://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif View Quote |

Will it be compatible with current pistol braces? Most notably the b&t.
I keep throwing money at my screen, but nothing is happening.
I will definitely be getting one of these if they're reliable. |
I noticed there are right side fire control markings. Will there be an option for an ambi safety?
@Baxpin
We will have an ambi safety in the long run. Thanks, Josiah |

I want a K as long as it has a tri lug on the end of the barrel.
Also would like to know if there is a sub-$1000 full size MP5A3 version coming. Need to start squirreling away some money :)
Is there a plan for carbine version with a 16 inch barrel and a fake surpressor?
With ETS coming.ing out with polymer 30 rd mags, I'm definitely getting one!
I was just looking at MP5 clones the other day and thinking how much I really want one, but can't afford one. Then I come across this thread and it just made my day!!! I'll definitely be getting one at some point, hopefully a k model whenever they come out.

Ive got my AR9 in for repairs and it got me thinking.
Any updates on the MP5 project? Is there going to be an announcement on price coming soon? possibly a preorder? |
I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if it comes to fruition this year.
I coulda swore there was a sticky on this forum with the mp5 info. This project didn’t get scrapped did it?
Patiently waiting for a K version.
Update would be nice but I’d rather him get it right then rush it. |
The only update I can give at this point is that it is still coming in 2019! I will give more info as I am allowed.
Thank you, Josiah |
Let’s work out some sort of deal
Maybe 10 hours of free legal work in exchange for one of the first run guns?? In all seriousness, I’m looking damn forward to these coming out! |
Would love to pick one up, but absolutely not interested in K or reverse stretch models. A full size MP5A3 is the only version I would be interested in.
Is that A3 style brace made in house or is it 3rd party (GHW or whatever)?
If in house, are you guys going to sell it separately? I'm all in for a PSA MP5 or two, especially a K model, but I've got a Zenith MP5 that I'd love to have that A3 style brace on too. |

Hello, I am really really looking forward to the release of the PSA5 next year. I know you can't give away too much, but can you tell me if the PSA5 will be compatible with OEM MP5 furniture? I want to put a factory sliding stock on it as well as a lower handguard with the integral flashlight. I wanted to know now so I can to start looking for a good deal. Basically I want this: https://i.imgur.com/Xkjoizx.jpg View Quote |

Correct. I do not want a suppressor. For my personal interest, this will be the only gun I will ever feel is worth the hassle to obtain a tax stamp for an SBR.

View Quote You know this is the first time I've posted outside of the equipment exchange and I'm wholly unsurprised that a simple question turned into condescension and criticism (cuz it da interznets right?). I thought about emailing the rep directly but thought nah, why not post it so others could benefit from the knowledge too. |

Going through the stamp process for a firearm that has a trilug on it and saying that you'd never want to suppress it. Bit of a stretch to compare that to a m16 retro. Depends on use as well I'd suppose.
Surefire did make an offset adapter so this light could be used with a can. I see humor to setting up a gun in a way that you intentionally negate it's uses. Especially with the inexpensive supressors out now and a host gun that is wonderful when suppressed. And again I should remind myself this isn't GD. I am looking forward to the psa version of an mp5 coming out. I'd like to see a K version too. And a few other variants. Rollerlocks are fun. My 2 PTR's don't see enough use sadly. I'm sure PSA's price will be pretty damn good too. |

My bank account is throbbing at the thought of this.
I have never had an mp5 before because of the prices. That is subject to change given my history with PSA |
