PSA also said the will sell the lower for $100. It's a fun thing. Chopping up the Glock frame was a bit unnerving, but it's just a Glock. Attached File I've since ditched the sights in favor of Trijicon HDs, and a second slide (MOS) with Ameriglo suppressor height sights and a RM06. But if PSA can pull off the pistol they were showing at SHOT for $300 with real volume production . . . IMO that'll be a game changer. G19.3 clone for Sd9 money. |

I expect the complete frame (with lower parts) to sell in May for less than $99.99 MSRP ... in the same way I expect PSA to sell the PS9 DAGR / Dagger with suppressor-height sights, RMR cut and threaded barrel for less than $349.99 MSRP. I have my fingers crossed PSA will offer the PS9 DAGR / Dagger with the rear iron sight cut in front of the RMR. As recent ARFCOM polls have suggested, I'm confident this would be the preferred configuration. And I'm still holding out hope PSA will (eventually) offer an 80% version of the PS9 DAGR / Dagger frame ... common use! |

They wouldn't have priced the DAGR / Dagger at $299.99 if they intended to sell it at that price long-term. The DAGR / Dagger also will be sold through dealers. Dealers may opt to sell the DAGR / Dagger at MSRP (at least initially). However, with time, I'd expect the dealers to discount the DAGR / Dagger, as will PSA. I'm sure there are dealers on here who can comment on the typical PSA dealer discount. |

Heads up on the Dagger timeline.
The basic model will be released ~3rd week of May, but the RMR cut won’t be released at the same time. So if you’re looking at getting the RMR cut, you’re looking at a June release date. |

View Quote You mean G45 and G47. I didn't even know about the G47. That's amazing. I'm not sure if that is the way or not. I know it wouldn't be hard to engineer. Glock could/should have made it that way to begin with. The issue would be that a lot of guys have G17.3s that they would want to buy just an upper for, and that market is probably higher priority than whatever market the G47 would be for. I would definitely buy a 47 style upper for the dagger I'm buying the minute it comes out. ETA: A good naming convention would be: PS9 (standard model) PS9X (same apx. external dimensions as G19X/G45, exact same slide as PS-9, takes G17 mags) PS9XL (same apx. external dimensions as G17/47, exact same frame as PS-9X, slide same length as G47/G17, takes G17 mags) |

Palmetto State Armory is very excited for the release of the new 9MM Dagger handgun. We have put countless hours of research, design and testing into our latest offering, and we look forward to its debut. Current world events have taken a toll on industries of every kind, and ours is no exception. We have taken extensive measures to keep our team and families healthy and safe during this time, and that has required some readjustments internally. We expect no different from those with whom we do business. Current events are putting a halt on supply chains everywhere. We have been told by our suppliers to expect a minimum 2 -3 week delay on receiving the last of the parts we need to get the Dagger into its final phases. This means we have to expect the release date of the Dagger to follow accordingly due to these unprecedented times. Please join us on Facebook live next Thursday the 14th as our Head Engineer Dusty will be talking about details regarding the Dagger including more about supplier issues and timeframes. Here is the link to the Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2574979176065162/ Should you not have a Facebook account, the show will be posted live to Youtube shortly after.

Had him super confused inside the first minute. Honestly while the Gen 3 17/34 market is obviously there, there are a ton of aftermarket options already available for them, and they're not as popular as the the G19, so I don't know whether there's a business case to be made from that direction. I also wish they'd incorporate the Gen 4/5 style mag release, but I know that's a pipe dream. |

I need this gun and I need to know when it's coming so I'll be ready to scoop it up. I'm dying of anticipation.

I believe PSA previously stated that they would not be making a G17 sized one. I hope they change their minds, because I would buy one. Or two.
This would allow us to make PSA G34s and G17Ls. Yeah, I'd need a PSA G34. Definitely. |

Usually, demand outstrips supply with PSA. Interest is over the moon on this one. W/O giving away State secrets, is PSA looking at ramping a big initial production run to (partially) meet demand?

Y'all can skip the Q&A they're doing right now. "want to know when the dagger comes out check the q&a"
I check and they say a couple weeks out. Which is what they've said multiple times for a while now. No definitive answer, no date. |

Any platforms us non-fb folks can watch on? Up om YT today hopefully?

Cliffnotes from Q&A:
-Waiting on sights before they can produce a final product. Base models will only be ready after the parts arrive (which is most optimistically in 2-3 weeks). Probably end of month for parts arriving, then pistols after. -Stripped frame. $99. Will also come with locking block and rear rail, as they are proprietary parts. -All other parts are interchangeable with Gen 3 Glock. They have hammer forged threaded barrels, which will go on the nicer variants. Night sight options (Truglo) as well. -Planning on four models of pistol in different grades. -Base model. $299. 3 dot metal sights, nitride/PVD/DLC coating. -$349 for threaded suppressor ready model. Note that the threaded version isn’t the same as the RMR version. -RMR cut model. Believe its also $349? Will come out minimum 3 weeks after Base Model. -Modular optic model coming for non-RMR optics. -Duty grade model. Specs not final. -No preorders. -Parts kits are in development. 80% lowers will be integrated down the road but big legal concerns. -Working on compact slide and frame variants. Dagger long slide,19x, compact, full size, etc. Looking at 3rd QTR for those variants. -Working with competition parts such as porting, slide cuts. -Working on different colors. FDE is moving forward, probably by late summer. OD green is next. -Not CA legal. -22.4oz empty. |
