I am completely happy with Keymod. It works for me. Frankly tired of hearing all the complaining.

I have some rifles with keymod and some with MLOK. Both systems seem to work equally well. I don't understand what all the bitching is about.

keymod works just fine. only reason we got mlock is to work with crap plastic hand guards that magpul sells.

Same. This is my first venture into KeyMod, and I don't hate it. Dress it out with some nice covers and it's hard to even tell what it is. https://s25.postimg.org/ghlz7mwov/IMG_6824.jpg View Quote |

After reading over my initial comment I guess I can see why it sounded like I was complaining, however, that was not my intent. I wasn't trying to bad mouth Larue at all, in fact, I like the products so much that I literally made this account just for following the larue forum (hence I only have 55 posts). I have been building ARs for years but purchased my first larue product in the taste of texas sale a while back. Since then I have acquired 3 Larue rifles and lots of other goodies. The quality is the best of the best. I was just saying Im holding off for the mlok because everything else I have is mlok. I like keymod just fine, its just that Im sorta OCD and I like everything in my collection to be the consistent. And back to my original question, does anyone know if they are validating the UU order number when the order is placed (automatically through software) or are they validating when they process the order? Just wondering because I used an order number for my stealth V1 upper and handguard to buy the lower and assumed it was approved when it let me checkout. If thats not the case, I want to call and cancel the order so I can waste as little time as possible on their end.

all you have to do is ask.....just finished putting at all together. going to try a PRS stock on this one since it's a longer range rifle in 6.5G. used the LT buffer tube so if i don't like it i can just slide the LT RAT stock on. thanks @Mark Larue for a great product! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/mburgin/Firearms/Larue%20Tactical/IMG_6490.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/mburgin/Firearms/Larue%20Tactical/IMG_6491.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/mburgin/Firearms/Larue%20Tactical/IMG_6492.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/mburgin/Firearms/Larue%20Tactical/IMG_6493.jpg |

I just got a tracking number for my lower order #532211
edit: one black small frame |
|
Any large frame lowers shipping?
Ordered a black and fed small frame within minutes of the email and the black shipped the next day, FDE is still waiting. |
|
Picked up my lower from the FFL at lunch. It actually arrived at his place last Thurs., but I was out of town.
Looking forward to finishing this up and shooting the Grendel. |
|
I never got an email that mine shiped, but a few days ago I logged in to check on it and it showed a tracking # and Serial. I went to the UPS page
entered the Tracking # and it showed "In transit"". Looking at the current status, it looks like my FFL got it, but I won't be able to get there too pick it up till Sat... Never did get an email... But thats OK, long as I get the lower. |
|
Order status still says "Compliance call Juli".
Trying to determine if I should call because my I confirmed my FFL faxed it last week. My FFL sent a confirmation email with Dan copied. |

When I called, Juli told me that all orders are automatically listed as "Compliance, Call Juli" until they have processed them. There were several hundred invoice numbers ahead of me when I called on Friday. As of this afternoon my card has been charged. The poor girl his working her butt off. She should get a raise.
|
|
Mine still says 'compliance', but the email I got a couple hours ago says 'Flagged', FFL expired.
Well, shit. |
|
Mine still says "Compliance" - I uploaded FFL and e-mailed a copy to Dan. Ordered large frame black, order #532205. Going to give her a few more days before I call. No telling how long it will be before the Creedmoor UU Kits ship, so I'm not to worried.

If you had 10 M-lok rifles and a full array of accessories, you might have some skin in the game. Frankly Frank, you don't have a Frank in the game like some of us do. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I am completely happy with Keymod. It works for me. Frankly tired of hearing all the complaining. So I'm being totally honest when I ask this because I do not know. But what mlock accessories were you planning on switching out and sharing between rifles? Don't you have to loctite your mlock? All I did to get on the keymod train was buy a way overpriced picitanny slot for my bipod to clamp on. I'm pissed about having to pay so much for the QD sling swivel down the road that was integrated in the first LaRue stealth rail or came free with my tOBRs. |
|
|
I look at it the same as the Larue screw in rails.
Only directly Mount permanent stuff. QD for sling or such. The Larue mounts on rail is way better for temp stuff. No Allen wrenches required. Only looking at rail, and maybe seekis angled grip for myself. And anyone talking return to zero, that is dumb use a rail with Larue for optics. And why are you mounting optics on the side of a gun anyway? For most people we are talking bipod, light, and grip. Only one I would directly mount. Do not need the extra mass of the light and bipod when not in use. If you have more stuff you are rich and stop bitching. |
|
Mine was marked shipped, but I didn't get an email. This is a first for LT
Delivery to be Wednesday. |
|
1 built, 1 still waiting ude
I Couldn't pass up the tranquillo deal either. x2 Get 'em while there hot |

When looking through it, there is a slight bluish tint, but it's a nice optic if that doesn't bother you. The price is nice - under $500 in a LaRue mount. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Mine got there on Friday, but my FFL is on the way to work. Today is my Monday so time to pick it up. Probably do the assembly Saturday morning while the wife sleeps in. Only reason is, I sent it to the SOT and he is 45 min from the house.
The suppressor has yet to ship 3 weeks in on a form 3 at this point. . |
