At some point you really should offer parts. There are parts on these we can't get anyplace else. I understand (but don't like) only selling the complete units at first but people are going to need repair parts, parts to fix things they broke which wouldn't be warranty, or parts to finish up builds. I want to pickup a bolt/firing pin for mine to store in the grip at some point. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I am sure they will eventually. I notice he didn't mention gun kits which is what I am looking for since I bought the stripped lower. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Yes,the video also said the buffer tube is ar10 ,heavy buffer and spring. View Quote I really hope that PSA offers the mid-length barrel options that they had before, otherwise I'll have to use another. On my next build I plan to try out a JP buffer, just for my curiosity. |

UPDATE
Shot my new G2 KS47 pistol this morning. Would not cycle. Not happy! But was very accurate. The bolt would not go back enough to pick up the next round. But the mag locks up extremely tight. I imagine after i get it fixed it will shoot very well. |

That's exactly what I think is wrong. Im using Yugo military ammo. If anything it should be over gassed not under. I will get a hold of customer service shortly. Thank you! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I considered that, but its strait, and with the extra gas from that round it should still be enough to cycle. It has to be a port issue. Returning the gun. Looking forward to getting it back!

12/26 UPDATE
Got off early today came home swapped out the buffer spring on my .223 into the ks47 and just like that it works. Its a little over gassed but works. Heres where im looking for some advice. Should i send it back to PSA for them to drill out the gas port? They said that they upgraded the spring for better reliability. Seems like thats the way i should go if designed. But its working now with a lighter spring? |
|
Honestly, if it doesn’t void the warranty, I would get a chrome silicon spring from Damage Industries and run the snot out of it.
The chrome silicon spring will last many times longer than a standard carbine spring, especially with that cartridge. In my experience with ARs chambered in 7.62x39, I have found that carbine length rifles are usually way over gassed, so if I could run it without using a heavier buffer spring, I would count myself lucky. |

Get one machined. To hell with waiting for PSA. That's what I did and I am more than happy.

Its the rear magazine stop. Its where the pin that stops the mag from over inserting at the rear is.

How does the mag lock up on yours, loose im guessing? You shoot it yet?

Get a mega sbu upper, send it to Paladin Machine Service in Kershaw SC and he can machine it to work with your ks47 lower.

Is PSA still bringing out new ks47 stripped lowers? I would love to get one. Thanks.

Finally got to shoot it.. It is a tack driver. First few rounds I had feeding issues but I didn't lube it. Once lubbed, it ran perfectly. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/132684/20190127_143336-825009.jpg View Quote |

Your website does not respond to customer service emails. PM or email me please. I don't mind paying, but I just need that upper badly. View Quote Thank you, Josiah |

Or uppers? I feel like I have been waiting forever as well. May of 2017 is when I ordered my lower. A couple of the kits went on sale at various times but either sold out immediately or were a configuration I didn’t want.

Quoted: Well I bought it secondhand so I guess you can't help me. Guess I'll just have to buy a complete one ?? there is no repairing this upper, the index pin dug itself into the aluminum. The threads are trashed too from my trying to remove the barrel nut. View Quote Thanks, Josiah |

Somewhat on topic.
I was going to order a complete lower with pistol brace, but they were not available. I ordered the complete lower with magpul stock. Do you guys at PSA put this going out of your book as "other", "lower receiver" or "rifle lower", or ? I seem to see mixed results if I can pull the stock and add a brace and build it into a pistol first, before it ever has a 16" upper in place. No, I don't intend to write a letter;) My only concern is that it comes with a stock. If I can't build it into a pistol, I am fine with doing a carbine. |
