Now that AG Garland has set up a federal red flag center, the camel toe Harris will be in charge of, when will they be coming for our guns?  Does living in a declared 2A sanctuary county give us any cover from the Marxist thugs?

No county in FL has passed a Second Amendment Protection Act. It has all been toothless resolutions.

If it makes you feel any better domestic violence injunctions and the newer RPO are reviewed and issued by judges county and circuit (groups of counties). These folks are elected. They also for the most part seem extremely conservative  from what I've seen and heard when issuing these restrictions on constitutional rights, many times without a hearing...... for now.

There is a bucket full of money behind the White House office of more bullshit gun control. Part of it the program and the number stated goal is "educating the judiciary" in the use of red flag laws and obtaining orders. This is where things can get out of control. There will be conferences and training events funded by our tax money  to change the "judiciary" and its thought process with these orders.

I've always thought judicial races which are usually not very exciting and not well funded are a great place for PACs to exercise great control over bad candidates and influence the court system for years in the future. Our local PBA chapter screened judges for races years ago but we got lazy and quit doing it.

Just an idea judges and the judiciary are very very important.

It sounded more like something intended to promote RFLs and inform state and local entities how to set up and conduct them. Since Florida is already blessed with such wonderful safety measures thanks to our esteemed former governor and the ever-vigilant republican protectors of the 2A in our legislature () I figured our state would be at least a little inoculated against it.

Multiple judges have stated that they will pretty much approve every DV injunction and every red flag order because they don't want to be the "one judge who let a real problem case slip through cracks."

Polk County for example is very conservative with its local judges. Polk County has issued a metric crap ton of red flag orders. Far more than liberal Miami-Dade County.

Our little North Florida area has been reasonable. The push in the legislation it seems is to make every judge feel the way you describe “not wanting to be the one to let one slide” and to tune up the affiants so the language used and facts stated in the applications will match up to the industry standard that they are training the judges to look for. It’s a well thought out plan that we are funding with our tax dollars.
