Shit is hot in Tampa as I type this. University Mall being a current hot spot, which is just down from USF.

I live about a half mile from downtown. Of course I'm 300 miles away while my wife is home currently but I'm not worried. Fort Myers is very small.

It would be great if a municipality would utilize their camera systems, or those of local businesses, to identify who is leaving these bricks around. From what I’ve seen posted, there is no construction or anything other reasonable explanation for why these stacks (and pallets in a few cases I saw posted) of bricks just happen to be where businesses and property are being damaged. |

I'm wondering now - if all these mysterious brick piles just show up on public property without any identifiable owner, maybe some enterprising folks could go clean up that attractive nuisance and score some free bricks for a patio or driveway or whatever in the process? It'd be pretty hilarious if some Antifa guy had to sit there and watch their ammo supply for the evening get picked away to nothing by the Home Improvement Brigade.

It looks like they are doing paver work in that area. Are they? That would explain the pavers piled up with cones in place so people don’t trip.

I remember it looked mostly abandoned around 2007 when I moved back for school - I've been there a few times for the theater in the past few years. I regret not carrying almost every time, but they did at least have a cop posted in the lobby.
