As a diehard Auburn fan, I watched the game with pessimistic enthusiasm. I wanted to believe, but knew how it would end. Just glad it was an entertaining game.

As an AU alum, I was expecting worse, but was pleasantly surprised, even with the final outcome, although still disappointing that AU lost. Not to inflame the fans, but IMHO, UA people will not or refuse to fathom the AU spirit that we have developed over the years of this rivalry, mostly from being the underdog team.
If AU has a 3 or 4 loss season, we don't like it, but move right along. If the same loss record happens at UA, well then, time to hang the coach. |
