My DIL leaves work at night and would like a stun gun.  She has her CCW and a Glock 43 but would like the Stun Gun.

Probably cheaper online. As you likely know, it's not just tap them and they drop. Gotta hold it for several seconds.

If you're the tactical instructor I think you are, that last sentence was likely silly but may help less informed.

Gun shows have them but they mark up the Chinese models you get cheaper online, same thing with knives.

I prefer tasers that shoot the barbs. As mentioned with stun guns you have to be within touching distance and that it too close.

Civilian model is the Taser Pulse.  Scottsdale Gun Club carries them, as do most larger gun stores.

In AZ you are, the only difference is the "civilian" version has 15 foot leads.

The dealers like C2 and SGC have the Taser Bolt for $400.

https://shop.c2tactical.com/taser-bolt-w-laser-led-2-cartridge

Shockingly Amazon has it for $300 and its legit.

Amazon Product
  • 30 second muscular override - temporarily overrides an attacker's central nervous system
  • Laser assisted targeting
  • 15-foot safety range - gives you ample space to make a safe escape

FYI, Amazon says it won't ship stun guns to an AZ address.

Remote range requires taking of name, address.
But even the close range stun guns are not approved.

Grrr.

Ensure it is a TASER and not a generic "stun gun"

Taser StrikeLight is an option. Flashlight and stun gun combo. Shipped directly from Taser in Scottsdale. The sound of the arc alone is enough to scare off most predators. Haven't found the courage to shock my self yet but I'm sure it hurts
