My sister will be moving to Hawaii in next few months from Arizona where she currently lives.  She asked me to ship some of her books from my parents house in Miami to her in Hawaii once she gets there.
Well, I went and packed up her books in two boxes and they are pretty heavy.  I expect shipping anything to Hawaii is not cheap so I was wondering what would be the most economical method to these ship books there.  It's total of 2 boxes and each box is about 21 pounds.

Books can go media mail.  It can take up to six weeks, but it's pretty cheap compared to other options.

Another option would be shipping via USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail. Up to 70lbs, if it fits, it ships.

We shipped a bunch of stuff back and forth using flat-rate. Shipped a bunch of my kids school books using media mail, and they arrived at the same time as the Priority mail stuff.

Do not ship Parcel Post, it always comes by boat and always takes weeks to get here.
