Just passing this along, local media hasn't picked it up yet.

A friend of mine was getting ready for work and was letting his Suburban (white 2001) warm up and 3:30 this morning (his shift starts very early), and he happened to look out and saw his headlights backing out of the driveway. He tried chasing them on foot but couldn't catch them.

A little bit later they bashed in the back doors of Quick Pawn with his Suburban and broke in, taking several guns and other items. I don't know all the details, though.

My friend's Suburban was later found in Adair County.

This pickup was also stolen, apparently by the same people and was used in an incident at the Medicap Pharmacy in Creston. Black 2002 Chevy Silverado extended cab 4x4.

Can't mess with you at the gate anymore so I do what I can.  Retirement is good, I would recommend it to everyone.   Not having the headaches of that place is even better!  Working for the State now so not fully retired but life is good.
