Came here in 72 and I can tell you it's turning to shit filling up with the gang bangers and other trash . Kenai is ok if you just want to sit around and watch the cars rust I know I worked there for several years, roll up the streets at 5.
bottom line the whole US is going to hell but I'm just tired of this place. |

OP, Rich is correct.
The arfcomers here in central AZ are close knit for the most. Better weather if one doesn't want to be living next to the sun to the south of us. Lots of forest land to travel in and good places to hunt or camp. Fortunately for you, we don't have four legged things that try to hunt you down here so there is that 
I suggest a recon first. Come sit with us over lunch so we can give you the true lay of the land. |

There are a few spots around Tucson that give you easy access into the mountains (Rincons and Catalinas) and plenty of trails to explore. Check out Catalina/Oracle or the Tanque Verde area of Tucson.

I’d say prescott or showlow coming from Alaska, you’ll hate the nasty ass heat in Phoenix and Tucson is the armpit of the state, fuck that place, I work down there a few weeks a month

There are a lot of areas take your RZR in AZ, White Mtns, Crown King, Munds Park, Sedona. Check out the AZ RZR group https://www.facebook.com/groups/AZRZR, also check out the Peace Trail, https://arizonapeacetrail.org/ Where I live it is 3 miles from the house to shoot and 300 yards from my garage to the dirt.
