Thanks to nukemap, here's what happens if Madison gets a Russian SS25 aimed at the fighter squadron.

Infrastructure is most likely going to fail, and cities will be a living hell in short order. I stopped worrying about it 40 years ago. They are not going away, and I have no control over their launch. |

I don't think you'll have to worry about Madison getting nuked. They've had a "Nuclear Free Zone" ordinance since 1983 that the Russians will abide by since it will be illegal to drop nukes there.
