I need help finding some quality local made Florida goods. I want to send my folks in Oregon a gift basket with local stuff like southern rubs, jams, BBQ sauces etc. I found a few things at Winn Dixie but I'd like to find more, their selection was kind of limited.
Are there any stores that specialize in stuff like that like a "Made in Florida" store. Thanks

I would go to a touristy place like Clearwater Beach or John's Pass for souvenir shops.

In that case, maybe Mixon Fruit Farm? It is in Bradenton but there might be something similar north of Tampa or in Lakeland/Plant City.
Or the Farmer's Market in Ybor or Tampa on the weekends. |

You can always drive down to St. Pete to Florida Orange Groves & Winery. It is a winery, but they offer other FL produce, jam's etc.

Publix has a section for Florida produced products.... It's usually an end cap.

Say no to Dirty Dixie, and yes to Publix. I mail my friends in Texas all the Publix stuff they miss. Even overnighted a Publix roastbeef sandwhich as a gag. Worked great.

Parksdale farms in Plant city is an option, and there's a place in Terra ciea as soon as you come off the skyway called the citrus place that might work as well, and as others have mentioned anything from Everglades seasoning is top notch goodness.

Go over to Ybor City on a sunday morning about 10 am …. look for people wandering around , they move around .Kinda like a upscale yard sell … plenty of florida wares
