Ruger 10/22
TacSol threaded 16” barrel
AAC Prodigy
CCI Quiet Semi-Auto

What you’re hearing, other than impacts downrange, is the bolt cycling.  Next on my list is a suitable, threaded bolt or lever action.

suppressed 22 is quieter than most staplers... love them.

Got this TacSol on my takedown with a Dead Air Mask. With the CCI Quiet it's unbelievable at how quiet it is.

Shep, do you have the stock buffer in your 10/22? I put a KIDD bolt buffer in mine and it quietens down the recoil noise even more.

A CZ455/457 threaded is in my near future... I hope

I pulled the tac sol barrel off of my x-ring and replaced it with a gemtech mist a little while back and it's a great little shooter. I've been looking at an aftermarket trigger for it, any suggestions?

Depends on how fancy/pricey you want to get.   I installed the Ruger BX trigger and am very happy with it for what I paid.  It’ll get you about 70% of what you get with a VQ trigger, for far less.

A Kidd drop in blows the BX out of the water, if you need two or have a buddy that needs one they're $90 each.

Way back when I had a meter (2016ish) the prodigy on a rifle was the quietest you could get.

Just had to get the right core as I think the first gen (and maybe into the 2nd) had some stability issues.

Get a chiappa little badger. It'll make that sound unbearably loud in comparison....

I have a savage bolt gun and some shitty can. With subs or quiets I can set it off in a room and you won't hear it. dryfiring is literally louder than the round.

I don’t have a 10/22 but I do have a 7.5 AR SBR and running it suppressed with the CMMG 22 bolt conversion it’s barely louder than a staple gun.

I have a savage fvsr 22 with a mask on the end. It’s probably my favorite gun to shoot.

Same rifle, can, and ammo, but with a Kidd Bolt Buffer installed.

Suppressed 10/22 with Kidd Bolt Buffer

When I run this 10/22 with the can it’s a dream.

This is my 10/22 build with all KIDD parts. Shoots lights out and the McRee's Chassis is the shit.

Same here. Savage bolt, some $200 can, and the impact of the projectile hitting the paper is louder than the rifle firing.

I’m running a AWC Ultra II integrally suppressed barrel on my 10/22. I’m using the Volquartsen bolt, Kidd trigger pack and a Magpul stock. It’s always been a solid shooter and it’s scary quiet.
