It's funny, I smoke the occasional cigar (maybe 3-4 a year) and have never had any desire to smoke a pipe but for some unknown reason I feel drawn to this.
Thank you for sharing, this will be something I have to check out. |

The phenolic pipes on upper left were actually my dad's dad's. Maybe one or two of the others also.
The oddball things my dad collected during his college years mid 1950s to mid '60s. I never saw him smoking a pipe and he quit cigarettes in 1980. Made a post about those pipes in GD back when my dad died. Got some folks saying the phenolic Belgian pipes could be worth up to a few hundred $. Seems unlikely as they are broken, glued, and smoked out. But might be interesting to take it to this meet to see if they can be given a better home than mildewing in the basement. |

Been a 3 cigar a day smoker since mid 90's. Maybe one that day needs to be at the show! I'll come just for that!
