I'll take anything.

We're in the middle of calving and I'll take those difficulties and possibly a dead calf or two to get some moisture.

So dang dry up here on the hi-line our grass hasnt even started for the summer.   We're already resigned to hauling water all summer, but without grass....no need to haul any.

Here in Helena it's the same story it's been since winter started.  Weather guessers calling for a foot and a half of snow and we haven't got enough to make the ground white.

Definitely a foot. There's some drifts out here that are two feet high.

At least it's light stuff.

Just about 3 inches up here east of Havre.

Bit more coming down now but won’t add up to much more I’m guessing.

Not too far away south of havre they got about 8”.  That would make some water run if it warmed up quick enough.

The bottom layer is pure slush out here. Its heavy when it starts to build up.

You should experience some east coast storms if you want to see heavy/wet snow. This was a light one for me.

I was wearing shorts on Friday and sitting on the porch. Then plowing snow yesterday.

I grew up in the U.P. of Michigan on the shore of lake superior. It was nothing to get 250+ inch of snowfall a year.
I am glad for this storm. We definitely need the moisture.

My furnace picked a good night to crap out.

I think it's just the capacitor, so hopefully I can find one in the morning.

More rain today than I think I've seen since moving here.
