You left a 20 year (One Generation) of people who know only the semblance of Democracy and freedom. Perhaps just perhaps the seed will grow. 2) I extend my condolences to the USA and all other allies for fighting a war where the enemy has no uniform and specifically would THROW away God's greatest gift LIFE because their belief dictates sacrificing yourself gets you a seat next to Allah, a bunch of virgins, and their families "prestige" and money. I have said this a million times if you haven't watched this movie/documentary Battle for Algiers https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058946/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

You can't win a war where death trumps life, because... <see #2) How do you win against the indigenous people with centuries of experience using the war of attrition and a perfect asymmetrical environment to their end? Perhaps the latter part of #1) 20 year long generational seed of freedom that will hopefully grow.
I have always been the "glass is half empty" type guy, but in the case of the "Sandbox" I will hope and pray for a "Glass half full."
