Today the VT senate voted 21-9 to raise the legal age to purchase ANY firearm to 21. If this becomes law along with universal background checks (senate approved as well) then any civilian aged 18-21 would be prohibited from buying any firearm. If they don't have an immediate family member to sell them a gun then they're on their own for their personal defense.
Contact your representatives using the NRA links posted above. We cannot trust Gov. Scott to stop this! I wonder what other constitutional rights they'd say adults aren't old enough for? |
