Food, water, blankets, full tanks of gas, and enough things to keep the wife and I entertained (books and puzzles duh) for the weekend.
Realistically things will be fine and we'll just sit on our asses and watch netflix/hulu all weekend anyways. |

I drive a snow plow for my town. I asked for time off a few weeks ago. Low and behold I leave tomorrow for a warmer climate. I'll be thinking of you all and hope it's not as bad as predicted.

I need to gas up Friday. Have a champion 2kw inverter on standby, decently stocked fridge and snow blower. Fixing snow blowers for people on the side right now as everyone let theirs sit with E10 fuel in them since last year. Even worked on one generator as well this am between all the tires and brake work that came in at work today.

Just went to walmart for fun. Place was ransacked. Bread, frozen meals, most meat, and almost all the bottled water is gone. Saw a couple that was literally running around the store grabbing stuff off their list.
Scored myself a few packs of federal birdshot somehow too! |

I made my grocery run last night. Bought about $40 worth of food, no more than normal.
I did do one "prepper" thing today. I added a plug to my blower motor on the furnace, so if I do lose main power I can unplug it from the house power, and plug it into my generator. |
