There was a decent size Rattler on the west side of Kuna Butte on Tuesday. But he got deaded

Do we have rattlers in the pan handle? We moved here last November, and I've heard conflicting answers.

 We kill at least 2 a year, this one was in Emmit. The rattle snakes are around, but you have to be in the remote areas to see a lot of them. |

My acre has several Garter snakes. Very pretty. All the benefits of rattlesnakes with none of the venom.

Last year I somehow managed to wrap a gopher snake around the head of my weedeater. Poor guy was not happy when he fell off.

When I was stationed in Texas I went to a Rattle Snake Roundup. Ate snake several different ways. Tasty!

I ate snake once at a Boy Scout camp. Tasted like buttered popcorn. Butter was all they had to cook it in.
