Pretty much says it all in the title. I did the tour and bought a lot of seconds there. Will be driving through on 70 in a week or so and was thinking about stopping by.

I live nearby. No promises but I'll try to see if the outlet is open and if there is much inventory. What are you most interested in?

No tours anymore, but they are open for the sales.

Hard for me to pin down one or even a range of calibers, like a kid in a candy store comes to mind.
Now off to see the factory outlet page.

Ok, looked at the list, brought back memories. Primary interests would be in the 8805R, 9823R, 8445R, 9465R, 992401R, 992402R and 992501R.
Basically 125gr 9mm, 165gr 10mm and 230gr 45 jacketed hollowpoints. I cast solid lead at home but JHPs are hard to come by.
One last question, is there enough room on the parking lot to park an RV long enough to go in and buy a few things?

Looks a bit tight for that.

The lot for the outlet is small... 4-5 cars. Just park RV on the street and walk... it's not far. It's on the west side of the building.

According to their website they're still selling seconds.

But I haven't stopped in since before COVID started so, I can't say first hand.

OK, I stopped in. They are open usual hours. They showed 992402r and 9465r in stock... none of the others you listed but you know how that changes. I was in there 4-5 minutes and no one showed up so I was unable to ask what was being ran and what is scheduled next. There's a gravel shoulder along Parkhurst Drive either side of outlet lot that would be good for an RV. There is a good restaurant on your way back to I-70 about a mile or so north of town. It is on the east side of hwy-65 and has ample parking and good access off and back on 65 going north. Brown building... Clara's Cafe... great breakfasts that one can get for lunch.

I picked up a copy of what was in stock if you need more info. 8110r, 8125r,9905r,9990r,8800r show in stock. Nothing in .357,.410,.4295.

Thank you, your post is perhaps the most detailed and useful reply I have ever received here on arfcom. If everything goes as planned we will be parked out there on the 16th around noon.

If your RV travels brings you near Kansas City, I can direct you towards a few good, reliable sources for reloading supplies. Should be able to get you set up for projectiles for sure. Also pistol powder.

Any idea when they go to lunch?

This may be too late for you as you may have already come through, but always call ahead of time - phone numbers below.  They do inventory occasionally and they also sell out of seconds quick.
If you call, have a list of their bullet numbers to reference so you can ask what is in stock that you are interested in buying.
I go a couple times a year but have learned the hard way to call ahead for what I want.  Lots of places like Midway, Grafs, etc... are now buying the seconds and selling so the Sierra seconds store is out of inventory quickly!

I have several numbers for them;
660-827-6300
800-223-8799
888-223-3006  I have this listed as the seconds store

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I'll add a plus 1 to this.

I'm doing reasonably well on most things, but need some powder for my Grendel.

Wow, I've been here 40 years and never knew Sierra was a Missouri based company.
Cool.

I left Grey Summit early in the morning and completely forgot about stopping until I hit KC. Damn. Next time I will remember.
