Not surprised as Nassau County has almost always played 2nd fiddle to New York City, trying emulate the more asinine things the city does.

Amazing how many states and municipalities are pushing "Mandatory firearms storage" even though that was ruled unconstitutional 14 years ago in Heller. Short memories these idiot politicians. Question is will the Republican dominated legislature push these through? (of course - New York Republicans almost always claim to support the 2A while stabbing supporters in the back).
