Does anyone know of a scanner app (iphone) that covers Forsyth County and/or Alpharetta area.  I have 5-0 Radio Pro and Scanner Radio with no or very few feeds in this area.  If the scanner apps do not cover these areas, does that mean that getting an actual scanner would be useless also?

Forsyth County doesn't show up on Broadcastify, so it could be two things:  no one has taken the initiative to stream the scanner frequencies at all or no one can stream because the county has encrypted their system.  I know Forsyth FD is encrypted, but I don't know about law enforcement or other services.

If they are unencrypted, you're going to need a higher-end trunking scanner to listen, though.

The Radioreference link shows most Forsyth county frequencies listed as "OLD."  I'm assuming that means they are unobtanium for a reasonable price.
